Welcome to the Computer and Information Technology major's WIKI at Marshall University. The purpose of this WIKI is to allow students to post course notes, links, project samples, and code examples for their fellow classmates to review when working on their courses within the major.

Even though many of you may not have used a WIKI before, it's not too late to start and here is the place to get going. Once you register an account, you can edit any page within this site. Of course, WIKIs are developed with the intent that people will be honest and only contribute truth and valuable information and not try to destroy what others have done. WIKIs do require you to learn syntax for creating links, formatting, etc. This particular WIKI is based on dokuWiki and the syntax for this type of formatting can be found at http://www.dokuwiki.org/syntax

I have installed several plugins that you can include in pages if need be including polls and discussions. Specific syntax examples for how to add content to the WIKI can be found at Formatting Syntax. You can also use the Image upload option when editing a page to upload other files. Questions?
